Over these 19 years I have had the honor to meet and collaborate with an amazing array of people. The friendships I built among the UC Berkeley campus staff, faculty, and students, and the vendors and the community are priceless. I had the pleasure of managing many large-scale graduate student events. The students’ research and work were, and continue to be, an inspiration. They are looking to change the world for the better. How lucky I was to engage with them during their educational journey.
In addition, I had the distinct honor to meet and work with the lecturers: countless Nobel laureates, public figures, judges, philosophers, scientists, journalists, and all-around great thinkers. What an amazingly broad scope of topics and ideas. I was always in awe of the content we shared with the world. What a concept that the individuals who funded the inception of these lectureships in the early 1900s could never have envisioned our fulfilling their mission to make the lectures “free and open to the public” today would include unlimited access to them via the Internet!
If you wish to view or listen to any of the video or audio files of these lectures, please visit Berkeley Graduate Lectures and Tanner Lectures at UC Berkeley.
Enjoy!
