| These pictures are from our second week which we spent on the Big Island, Hawaii. We stayed in the south part of the island near the village of Waiohinu. Our home was the Hobbit House, a wonderful bed and breakfast located at 1800' up the side of Mauna Loa. It was a peaceful setting with spectacular views. And an adventure too--reaching Hobbit House required a 15 minute 4-wheel drive excursion over bumpy dirt roads. |
